Onjala Lodge is located only 75 km from Windhoek and 45 km from Windhoek Hosea Kutako International Airport and is easily accessible by minivan. Situated on a mountainside, Onjala offers spectacular views of the valley where resident game roams the 1700-acre private nature reserve. On the top of the mountain there is a second pool and an observation deck with panoramic views and spectacular sunsets. After dark, the starry sky can be explored with a high-quality, stationary telescope. Built in an unconventional architectural style, the rough natural stone of the area was used to blend unobtrusively with the setting. The eleven double rooms in the main building with large sliding glass doors and small lounges are comfortably furnished. The lower balcony overlooks the surrounding landscape and the second balcony on the upper floor overlooks the central courtyard with small tropical garden, pool and waterfall.
