The newest addition to the Mushara Collection of exquisite accommodations is Mushara Bush Camp, which sleeps 32 adults and 8 children. The custom-built tent-like accommodations and thatched main house convey a nature-inspired bush camp atmosphere. In the early evening the campfire is lit. Guests like to gather there to share their wildlife observations. All meals are served on the covered terrace where the wilderness seems within reach. The favorable price-performance ratio makes the camp an ideal base for excursions into the wonderful Etosha National Park, especially for families and solo travelers. Von Lindequist Gate is only 10 km away from Mushara Bush Camp.

  • The Tents – The 16 tents were custom made from canvas, wood and locally available limestone. They are well equipped, spacious and airy. Floor to ceiling windows, brushed cement floors and natural stone walls keep you cool even in the afternoon sun. Each tent has a large bathroom with a huge window through which you can watch the action in the bush while taking a shower. An 8 m² terrace completes this upscale accommodation for bush campers. Standard amenities include coffee & tea station, safe deposit box, mosquito net, power to charge batteries, hair dryer and fan. Four tents have a sofa bed where two children can sleep comfortably.

Mushara Bush Camp for children
Children are welcome to bring their parents to Mushara Bush Camp! For young guests there is a play area in the main house with books, toys and painting utensils. Friendly supervisory staff organizes creative games and gives children guidance on various activities. Outside in the adventure playground is an old tractor. In addition, there is a sandbox and, of course, a children’s paddling pool.
Meal times and the menu are tailored to the needs of the children. We do everything to make (also) children feel comfortable at Mushara Bush Camp.
