The name already suggests what you can expect, but that a lodge can be so idyllic will be a new experience for you. At the sight of the fairy-tale garden, where the 22 thatched bungalows are spread out in the shelter of mighty trees, the joy can sometimes do somersaults. Finally arrived where peace and harmony with nature spread a feeling of serenity. The Okavango is about to fall asleep, occasionally dugout canoes glide over its blue waters and snatches of joie de vivre waft from the nearby village.Getting up would not actually be necessary. From your bed you can see the morning sun dancing on the river, and if you lie long enough, the liquid silver of moonlight. Which would be a pity, because in between lies a universe of feelings, when the Okavango laps against the terrace, countless birds hold weddings in the trees and bushes, and the pool calls out in a tour: Come on in. Before you then worship the moon from your bed, we would like to mention a highlight of Hakusembe River Lodge: the open restaurant. Because of the excellent cuisine anyway, but even more because of its unique romance.

- Sunset Boat Trip – Experience the spectacular Okavango River landscape at sunset. Refreshments and light snacks are included in the price. Duration 1.5 hours.
- Tiger Fish Fishing – Tiger fish fishing with skipper and equipment on the Hakusembe River Queen. 2 persons per boat, fishing equipment and bait included. Lost bait costs N$60. Drinks are not included in the price. Please bring your fishing license as unfortunately the lodge cannot issue licenses at this time. Please contact the lodge manager for more information.
- Fishing trip – For enthusiastic anglers we organize a tailor-made fishing trip on site.
