The Okavango Delta is one of Africa’s most famous destinations. It is a swampy inland delta and was named one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa in 2013. In 2014, it became the 1000th Site officially inscribed on UNESCO World Heritage List.
The Okavango Delta, also known as “the river that never finds the sea”, offers some of the best safari experiences in Africa with world-class wildlife, accommodation and guiding. Here you will find a diversity of animal life with more than 160 species of mammals, including the Big Five. It is also home to one of the largest groups of the endangered African wild dog.
