Tlopi Tended Camp is located directly in the unknown Marakele National Park and is not fenced. Each tent has two beds (two stretchers are available, more suitable for children), private bathroom (shower, sink and toilet) and fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator / freezer, two-plate stove and electricity. Each tent has a veranda with table and deck chairs and barbecue facilities. One tent is wheelchair accessible. The camp is unfenced and is located about 17 km from the reception. Marakele National Park in the heart of the Waterberg Mountains, as its Tswana name suggests, has become a “haven” for an impressive variety of wildlife due to its location in the transition zone between the drier western and wetter eastern regions of South Africa. Majestic mountain landscapes, grassy hills and deep valleys characterize the park.
