This popular park in Limpopo Province covers over 28 000 hectares and includes the fascinating historical site of Mapungubwe Hill, which was the capital of the Mapungubwe Kingdom long ago.
Today it is one of the most scenic national parks in the country, with forests and sandstone cliffs all providing a wonderful backdrop. It is also one of the few places where Nile crocodiles and meerkats live together naturally.
