Chobe National Park is the oldest game reserve and national park in Botswana and was established near the Chobe River.
The wildlife in the Chobe is some of the most diverse and populous in Africa.
The Chobe has four clear ecosystems that have a wide range of vegetation and attract all kinds of wildlife. Besides the large herds with thousands of animals, the Chobe is also home to rare antelope species such as sable, red lechwe and roan.
